POLYETHYLENE PIPE

PE pipe should be handled, stored and installed in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 2033:2008 – Installation of polyethylene pipe systems. Local Authority regulations and specifications should also be adhered to.

PE pipe offers numerous advantages for above ground and below ground installations due to its numerous materials benefits relative to iron, steel and cements pipes.
With its resistance to corrosion and ground movements, PE has proven advantages in highly corrosive environments and earthquake zones.
An intrinsic feature of PE is its flexibility and low weight that generate cost savings in transportation, assembly and installation.

Trench less technology is used to pull long length PE pipes through underground holes bored by mechanical moles, thus reducing above ground activities and environmental disturbance. PE Pipe is ideal for restoring dated infrastructure or constructing new projects in busy urban areas.

As PE pipe is fusion welded, there is negligible risk of leaking from joint distortion. Applications for PE pipe include pressure and non-pressure pipelines for drinking water, irrigation, waste water, electrical, industrial, mining and telecommunications industries. Poly Pipes can be supplied in different colours for different intended applications. pipes for drainage and storm water are black, other pipes for drinking water are black with a blue, lilac, green, red, yellow stripe.

PVC PIPE

PVC Pressure pipes are suitable for a wide range of pressure applications, including water supply, recycled water, irrigation, pressure sewerage, gas and industrial applications.

PVC pressure pipes are available in two diameter groups, Series 1 and Series 2, which denote the outside diameter of each group. Series 1 pipes have ISO compatible outside diameters (mostly metric) whereas Series 2 pipes have ductile iron compatible outside diameters. Pipes are designated by their nominal size (DN) and their nominal working pressure (PN).

PVC pressure pipes are supplied in straight lengths with spigot and socket ends for ether solvent Weld jointing (SWJ) or rubber ring jointing (RRJ).

PVC Pipes can be supplied in different colours for different intended applications. Series 1 pipes for drinking water are white, Series 2 pipes for drinking water are blue. Pipes for recycled water are purple and pipes for pressure sewer applications are cream in colour
